Benedict Rich, DDS
We make every effort to provide you with affordable dental care. We do ask that you pay for treatment at the time of your visit. If your treatment plan requires several visits, you will be given an estimate and asked to make financial arrangements with our office manager.
Dental Insurance
We consider our relationship with you to be of primary importance and will always make our treatment recommendations based on what we believe is the most appropriate for you regardless of your insurance coverage. We do not participate with any dental plans. If your plan allows you to see a dentist that is not affiliated, we will submit claims to your insurance carrier. Dental insurance does not cover the full cost of treatment and you will be billed for the balance that is due. Our office policy is to make a good faith effort to file claims and collect benefits for patients that are covered by them.
Each dental plan has different percentages, deductibles, maximums, procedures covered, and varying fees that the plan will allow. We can file a pre-estimate with your insurance company and they will respond with the amount that will be paid. Many routine dental services are not covered by dental insurance. Our treatment recommendations are based on your dental needs and not on what your insurance plan covers.
Please do not hesitate to ask us any questions about our office policies. We want you to be comfortable in dealing with these matters and we urge you to consult us if you have any questions regarding our services and/or fees. We will do all we can to assure that you receive the maximum benefit from your insurance carrier.
Missed Appointments
There is a charge for missed appointments and those appointments that are cancelled without 24 hours notice.
